I’ve always had a deep appreciation for a well-crafted picture book. I believe so strongly in the power of art and illustration to be foundations for anyones imagination.

I love dreaming up quirky and whimsical characters, but I leave the specifics of the plot to you. Think of it as though I’m setting up the joke but you’ve got to come up with the punchline.

At the heart of my work is a determination to recapture a sense of the childhood whimsy that is marked by a naive curiosity. That feeling that fairies are lurking under the leaves and fantastical things are bound to happen tomorrow.

And if its not whimsical characters, its cheeky little greeting cards that serve the dual purpose of letting your friends know you're thinking of them, and of course, supporting the US postal service.

Wherever you find your interest piqued, I hope you will take as much joy as I do in a sarcastic note or accompanying a character – human or otherwise – and dreaming up their stories.
